Total Rewards Specialist
Bayer seeks a meticulous and proactive Total Rewards Specialist to join its North American HR Operations team. This role centers on managing leave of absence processes while contributing to the enhancement of Bayer’s Total Rewards initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel in operational expertise, leadership, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Leave of Absence Management:
- Administer and oversee employee leave processes, ensuring compliance with laws and policies.
- Serve as a primary contact for employee leave inquiries.
- Supervise third-party adjudication for leave processes.
Coaching and Development:
- Mentor team members in Total Rewards practices and create a collaborative work environment.
- Enhance team performance through knowledge sharing and development.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to optimize Total Rewards functions.
- Lead projects that increase efficiency and employee engagement.
- Implement innovative cross-functional solutions.
Support Across Total Rewards:
- Assist in areas such as compensation, health benefits, and retirement planning.
- Facilitate employee understanding of Total Rewards offerings.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in third-party leave of absence administration.
- Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and related regulations.
- Expertise in at least one Total Rewards area, such as compensation or benefits.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years in Total Rewards or HR Operations.
- HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or Total Rewards certifications (e.g., CCP).
- Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools.
