We are hiring for a technical position within our Engineering Automation (EA) organization. This team provides critical Design Technology Kit (DTK) collateral, tools, and workflows for designing, implementing, verifying, and completing custom memory projects. Our tools empower the development of DRAM, NAND, and emerging memory technologies across Micron’s advanced process nodes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Provide daily support for CAD tools, workflows, and collateral used by global DRAM design teams.
– Enable mixed-signal and custom IC design, including logical design, custom layout, automated placement and routing, and physical design verification (LVS, DRC).
– Collaborate with DRAM design, layout, and verification teams to address gaps in EDA vendor support and implement best practices globally.
– Support and develop SPF/LVS tools and workflows in partnership with the CMOS Modeling team.
**Qualifications:**
– PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
– PhD graduates or candidates with 1+ years (Master’s) or 3+ years (Bachelor’s) of relevant experience are welcome.
– Experience with SPF extraction tools like Siemens Star-RCXT or Cadence Quantus.
– Knowledge of HSPICE, Cadence Spectre, or similar analog simulation tools.
– Familiarity with memory design concepts (e.g., DDR3/4/5, LP3/4/5, HBM, NAND).
– Understanding of CMOS circuit design, layout, and verification processes.
– Expertise in circuit simulation and digital simulation verification flows (System Verilog/UVM).
