This role as a Co-Manager at a SONIC Drive-In restaurant is the ultimate position, comparable to the cherry on top of a delicious Strawberry Banana Split Molten Cake Sundae. Your responsibilities will include supporting the General Manager in overseeing restaurant operations and administration. You’ll play a vital role in training and mentoring team members, ensuring quality food is served in a clean, safe, and efficient environment. Our goal is to create an outstanding dining experience for each guest who visits SONIC.
**Key Responsibilities of a Co-Manager:**
– Supervising, training, and coaching Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops
– Directing restaurant staff to maintain quality food service standards
– Ensuring adherence to the employee handbook, policies, and procedures
– Performing opening and closing duties as required
– Adjusting staffing, inventory, and food cost controls as necessary
– Conducting weekly inventory assessments as needed
– Assisting with administrative tasks such as file and record maintenance
– Fostering a customer service-driven atmosphere where employees prioritize guest satisfaction
– Addressing guest requests promptly and respectfully; escalating complaints to supervisors when necessary and aiding in resolution
**Requirements**
**SONIC Drive-In Co-Manager Qualifications:**
– Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
– Basic understanding of restaurant or retail operations
– At least six months of experience in restaurant management (QSR) or two years of entry-level retail management
– Proficiency in communication, basic math, reading, and computer skills
– Capability to work independently, multitask, and solve problems effectively
– Willingness to comply with SONIC’s appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards
– Employment offer is contingent upon passing a background check
