Job Title: Senior People Service Delivery Manager
Job Description:
As the Senior People Service Delivery Manager, you will ensure the efficient functioning of Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams by overseeing employee queries, providing guidance, and resolving issues. You will manage the company’s People processes, focusing on operational effectiveness and compliance while driving company goals. A key aspect of the role is leveraging technology to enhance processes and keeping the knowledge base updated. You will be accountable for achieving operational excellence through Service Level Agreements (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and employee satisfaction goals. Additionally, you will collaborate with the People Team and other departments to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, minimizing organizational risk.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Guide and support Tier 2 and Tier 1 team members, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and overseeing performance.
- Manage the JIRA ticketing system to ensure tasks are properly assigned, categorized, tracked, and delivered according to SLAs and OKRs.
- Eliminate obstacles, enabling team members to define, document, optimize, and execute business processes.
Policy Development & Implementation:
- Draft and enforce policies to strengthen compliance across the company.
- Work with People and Legal teams to update employee policies and procedures.
- Create clear, accessible company policies, including employee handbooks, and ensure consistency across the organization.
Monitoring & Auditing:
- Perform audits to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Legal & Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legal standards and internal policies, focusing on compliance at all levels.
- Maintain confidential employee records and stay informed about changes in employment laws.
- Analyze how legal changes affect the organization’s People practices.
Training & Education:
- Offer compliance training for employees and managers to ensure awareness of laws and regulations.
- Partner with compliance teams to develop and deliver training on ethical standards and best practices.
Risk Management:
- Collaborate with legal and other departments to communicate regulatory requirements and support compliance efforts.
- Identify potential non-compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Recordkeeping & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate, confidential records related to compliance activities and prepare reports for senior management.
Management Responsibility:
- Oversee up to four Tier 1 & Tier 2 specialists.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in human resources, compliance, and employment law matters.
- Proven experience in global, federal, and multi-state employment laws.
- 5+ years in HR compliance, internal audits, or employment law.
- Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Knowledge of HR systems from a compliance perspective.
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position is $111,000 to $148,000 per year. Compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, location, and other factors. This role is eligible for bonuses or commissions.
