Purpose of the Role

The Senior Lead, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will oversee all HR functions within their business unit, including talent strategy, succession planning, performance management, recruitment, organizational design, employee relations, compensation, and benefits. As an integral member of the unit, the HRBP will serve as a liaison between leadership, HR experts, and executives.

Your Impact

  • Foster strong employer-employee relationships and promote a high level of employee morale, reinforcing Under Armour’s culture at all organizational levels.
  • Collaborate with leadership to assess and retain current talent while attracting new candidates, managing exit strategies for underperforming employees.
  • Provide expert coaching and guidance across all HR areas.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, legal developments, and technological advances to ensure best-in-class HR practices.
  • Handle supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Engage with HR Centers of Excellence to create and deploy:
    • A steady flow of internal and external talent.
    • Effective benefits and rewards programs.
    • Training and development programs tailored to the business unit’s needs.
    • Fair wage structures and pay policies.
    • Compliance with employment regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR processes such as performance management, organizational design, leadership development, and talent management.
  • Experience in fostering an environment that motivates and develops employees.
  • Previous involvement in talent strategy reviews, employee retention, and sourcing high-potential external candidates.
  • Experience providing confidential coaching at all organizational levels, with the ability to make judgment-based decisions.
  • Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships internally and externally.

Workplace Location

  • Location: Must be within commuting distance of our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD.
  • Hybrid Work: In-office for 3 days per week, remote for the remainder.
  • Certifications: Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $129,786.00 – $178,456.30 USD, with opportunities for growth based on skills, experience, and knowledge.
