**About the Role**

As a Senior HR Assistant at our Distribution Center, you will serve as the initial point of contact for employees visiting HR, providing essential support and ensuring a welcoming and helpful experience. You will assist with employee benefits inquiries, technical support, and administrative duties, as well as provide general HR assistance to enhance the employee experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

– Manage the HR front desk daily, offering a professional and friendly experience for employees seeking routine assistance.
– Answer general questions about benefits, enrollment processes, and HR policies.
– Generate reports in UKG and audit timekeeping entries to ensure attendance accuracy and adherence to policy. Collaborate with DC leadership to manage corrective actions related to attendance.
– Oversee New Hire onboarding during peak periods, including I-9 processing, policy presentations, benefits enrollment, and completion of onboarding documents.
– Support HR-led initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, compliance training, and open enrollment.
– Provide administrative assistance to the HR management team, including schedule coordination, travel arrangements, expense reconciliation, and internal communication.
– Maintain clear, open communication with management, staff, and other departments to support effective HR operations.

**Your Skills and Qualifications**

– Proven experience in planning, organizing, and prioritizing in a customer-facing environment.
– Strong ability to handle confidential information and manage competing demands effectively.
– Attention to detail with a proactive approach to process improvements.
– 5–7 years of administrative support experience in an HR or related field.
– High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or vocational training preferred.
– Experience in process leadership is a plus.
– Outstanding customer service orientation.
– General office and business knowledge.
