**THE ROLE:**

AMD is looking for a skilled communications professional with proven experience in managing communications for a dynamic, expanding global organization. This role will primarily focus on supporting the Chief Commercial Officer and the sales team in promoting thought leadership and brand recognition. Additionally, it will ensure that all AMD employees remain aligned with the company’s strategy, values, and growth initiatives.

**THE PERSON:**

The ideal candidate will be a clear and effective communicator with strong writing skills, able to simplify complex information. You must be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and be flexible enough to adapt quickly when priorities shift. Experience in developing and executing strategic communications plans, particularly in the semiconductor industry, will be highly valuable. Collaboration with senior leadership, HR, business function leaders, and employees will be essential to ensure cohesive communication strategies across the company.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**

– Establish and maintain strong partnerships with C-suite and senior leaders while creating and executing communication strategies for both external and internal audiences.
– Support thought leadership initiatives, enhance brand recognition, and drive employee engagement.
– Develop content and messaging aligned with AMD’s corporate strategy and vision, including for events, press relations, social media, and internal communications such as emails, blogs, and employee events.
– Work closely with senior executives as a strategic communications advisor, offering counsel on communication plans and initiatives.
– Partner with business units to address employee engagement needs and align messaging across functions.
– Lead the development of PowerPoint presentations, ensuring content clarity and creative direction.
– Simplify complex issues into clear, concise communications that effectively convey AMD’s position.
– Exhibit strong organizational skills and manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines.

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:**

– Experience in narrative development aligned with corporate strategy.
– A history of creating content for diverse internal and external audiences across different platforms.
– Proven success working as a communications strategist with senior executives.
– Strong collaboration and leadership capabilities within a matrixed environment.
– Exceptional writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly under pressure.
– Experience handling confidential information and making sound decisions in challenging situations.

**ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:**

– Bachelor’s degree in public relations, corporate communications, or a related field.
