Role Description
As a 1st or 2nd line Sales Leader, you’ll manage a team of Business Development Representatives, Managers, or Account Executives responsible for selling the Salesforce Customer Success Platform across various sectors. We seek an energetic and proactive leader to drive team performance and sales within our enterprise division. You will create and execute strategies to foster business growth, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Pre-sales, Partner Alliances, Services, and HR. The role involves developing your team, driving revenue, and meeting both individual and organizational sales goals. Your responsibilities will also include working with different verticals and clouds, such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Marketing Cloud, and others.
Your Impact
Leading a team at Salesforce, you will influence the company’s overall growth and enhance client engagement. Your role will involve coaching your team to excel, hiring, training, and developing future sales leaders, and creating industry-specific pipeline programs. You will motivate your team to exceed goals, manage pipeline and revenue forecasting, and collaborate with Marketing and Executive Leadership. Additionally, you’ll work with Operations to recommend process improvements and enhance efficiency and productivity.
Your Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of sales leadership experience, managing a team of at least seven sales professionals, and a bachelor’s degree is preferred. You should have a proven track record of building and leading successful sales teams, exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. For positions in San Francisco and Los Angeles, Salesforce will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records as per local fair chance ordinances.
