– You can navigate and understand source code, quickly adapt to new technologies, and work effectively in a senior engineering capacity.

**Qualifications**
**Required:**
– 7+ years of experience in software engineering or related fields, with proficiency in coding languages like C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, and more.
– Demonstrated ability to develop rapid prototypes that support concept validation.
– Experience in defining research goals and working independently to achieve them in ambiguous situations.

**Preferred:**
– Expertise in GitHub’s industry and a strong understanding of the software development landscape.
– Experience with frontend technologies like Typescript, React, or Svelte.
– Knowledge of machine learning, LLMs, and integrating intelligence into products.
– Hands-on experience with backend technologies, open-source software, and production system operations.
– Specialized skills in areas such as human-computer interaction or distributed systems.

**Compensation**
The base salary for this role ranges from $118,100 to $313,300 annually, depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications. Additional rewards, including bonuses and stock, may also apply based on individual performance.
