Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated professional to expand AMD’s presence across our commercial portfolio in collaboration with VAR channel partners in the Western U.S. In this high-visibility, partner-focused position, you will manage strategic relationships with OEM partners and influence senior-level decision-makers to drive success.


Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience building strong VAR partner and customer relationships that lead to measurable sales success.
  • Confident in delivering presentations to diverse audiences, including partners, customers, and executives.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture relationships with VAR channel partners and their leadership teams.
  • Advocate for AMD products and technologies to meet and exceed quarterly and annual unit and revenue targets.
  • Develop strategic relationships with OEM partners to align go-to-market strategies.
  • Analyze sales trends to optimize resource allocation and maximize growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal and partner teams to craft quarterly marketing plans aligned with sales goals.
  • Provide insights for improving sales tools and marketing materials to educate partners on AMD’s value proposition.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong network and experience with VAR channel partners and strategic OEMs like Dell, HPE, Lenovo, or Supermicro.
  • Background in technology sales/business development, especially in server/datacenter environments.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth in VAR accounts within the region.

Education and Location

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Position based in the Bay Area, CA.
