At Home is looking for a Regional HR Business Partner to provide essential support across our 90+ stores in the Northeast Region. This role allows for remote work, with occasional travel by air or car required.

Hiring Salary Range: $71,000 – $90,000

The ideal candidate should have multi-unit and multi-state HR experience (preferably in retail) and a solid understanding of employment laws. The candidate must reside in one of the following locations within a reasonable distance from major airports:

  • New York (commutable to LaGuardia or Kennedy airports)
  • New Jersey
  • Philadelphia, PA Metro
  • Maryland (commutable to BWI)
  • Charlotte, NC Metro

The Regional HR Business Partner (HRBP) will build strong relationships with business leaders to drive performance and support the company’s goals through human resources practices, including succession planning, organizational development, team member relations, and performance management. The HRBP will also address HR needs proactively, serving as a champion for employees and a change leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate consultative relationships with business leaders to improve team performance.
  • Develop strategies for team retention by analyzing metrics on turnover and engagement.
  • Lead team engagement initiatives, including surveys and action plans.
  • Drive succession planning and talent development in collaboration with leadership.
  • Handle team member relations, providing conflict resolution and compliance guidance.
  • Lead performance management processes, including appraisals and coaching.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team for recruitment and selection.
  • Lead special HR projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with multi-unit and multi-state HR experience (retail preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with all organizational levels.
  • Ability to analyze data, manage tasks, and execute plans effectively.
  • Proven experience in handling HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong discretion and confidentiality in handling HR matters.
  • Willingness to travel by car/air as needed.
