Job Description
About the Role:
The Project Manager, Documentation will be responsible for producing high-quality software and assay documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products at Guardant Health. You will join a technical project management team that work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and scientists in order to enhance the usability of our products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
- Developed and managed documentation for the Bioinformatics department in an Agile environment.
- Utilized Jira and Confluence for project documentation tracking.
- Conducted document reviews using Jama software.
- Established and applied universal Good Documentation Practices through template development.
- Organized Jira sprints for the Sample Collection project and ensured timely form completion using DocuSign.
- Recognized by management for consistently meeting document approval deadlines.
- Develop and manage documentation for the Bioinformatics department in an Agile environment.
- Utilize Jira and Confluence for project documentation tracking.
- Conducted document reviews using Jama software.
- Established and applied universal Good Documentation Practices through template development.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
- 0-2 years of industry experience
- Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation.
- Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail.
- Excellent written skills in English
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
Additional Information
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $61,600 to $95,200. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations for the posted role with the exception of any locations specifically referenced below (if any).
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.
Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
