General Purpose:

As a supervisor, you will oversee the activities of regular and temporary associates. Your role involves assessing production schedules and staffing requirements, ensuring compliance with company policies, enforcing safety regulations, and improving production methods. You will provide performance evaluations, maintain production standards, and cultivate a positive labor relations environment to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train, motivate, and evaluate associates in all job duties based on established standards.
  • Build strong relationships with other supervisors, DC Operations Managers, and HR.
  • Ensure merchandise is processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Enforce company policies and safety protocols.
  • Prepare performance evaluations and conduct reviews with support from the DC Operations Manager.
  • Prioritize work orders and staffing to meet production goals.
  • Report production needs and issues to the DC Operations Manager.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and performance improvement discussions.
  • Interview applicants and assist in the hiring process.
  • Support the separation process when necessary.
  • Assist with special projects as required.
  • Maintain daily records, such as time and production logs.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to merchandise processing and paperwork.
  • Monitor department productivity and service standards.
  • Lead training sessions on safety, company policies, and new processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with technical equipment like barcode scanners and Rapid Pak Systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience in a production or merchandising role.
