Job Overview:
Mechanism is looking for a Performance Marketing Lead to manage paid customer acquisition for various high-growth startups within our portfolio. This position will oversee the strategy, operations, and reporting of paid media accounts while building and leading a team of Paid Media Managers and Creative Strategists. The lead will develop systems and processes to launch companies at scale and drive success through paid media channels. We need an analytical and results-driven expert with a proven ability to lead high-performance marketing teams and implement cutting-edge AI-driven solutions to optimize campaigns and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hire and manage a high-performing team of marketers, providing guidance and development.
- Present strategy, results, and recommendations to CEOs and other stakeholders.
- Build and refine systems for scaling new companies and marketing strategies.
- Manage multiple PPC campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives and KPIs.
- Optimize paid campaigns across Meta, Google, and emerging platforms like TikTok.
- Implement AI-driven tools for improving campaign management, creative testing, and efficiency.
- Structure, execute, and report on A/B tests to optimize ad spend.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, delivering weekly reports on growth progress.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategies.
Skills and Expertise:
- 4+ years of experience managing Google and Meta Ads with a focus on the zero-to-one growth phase.
- Proven success in managing high-performance marketing teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Expertise in PPC campaign strategies, including bid management, audience testing, and creative asset development.
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, partnerships, and retention teams for holistic growth strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting insights and recommendations clearly.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and improvement, both personally and as a mentor.
