Job Description
**Position Title: Manager, People Technology**
Are you passionate about creating exceptional employee experiences and driving technological innovation? Pinterest is seeking a Manager of People Technology to lead and optimize HR and payroll systems, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement. This role will involve developing strategic roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing efficient, scalable solutions that enhance the employee journey. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical expertise, strategic vision, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Partner with strategic product leaders to enhance and scale HR technology platforms.
– Design and implement best-in-class system architectures, integrations, and data flows.
– Collaborate with HR, payroll, and IT teams to meet organizational objectives.
– Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to service-level agreements.
– Drive process automation and remove friction points in employee interactions.
– Lead HR system maintenance, ensuring data integrity and governance compliance.
– Mentor and guide a team of engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of excellence.
**Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, or related fields (Master’s preferred).
– 8+ years of HR technology experience, including 5+ years in managerial roles.
– Expertise in HCM systems (Workday experience highly preferred).
– Proficiency in Workday tools, JSON, and integration frameworks.
– Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
– Familiarity with SOX controls and Agile methodologies.
