Advisory Manager – Leading Advisory Firm – New York

Our client, a prominent advisory firm catering to a wide-ranging clientele from startups to Fortune 500 companies, is looking to expand its internal controls & SOX team with an addition of a manager. Who You Are: 

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field

• 5+ years of public accounting experience

• CPA, CISA, or CIA preferred

• Knowledge of PCAOB standards, US GAAP, SOX, etc

What You’ll Do:

• Direct SOX compliance initiatives for established public corporations and establish SOX compliance frameworks for pre-IPO and first-year public companies

• Partner closely with process owners to develop process narratives, risk and control matrices, and flowcharts

•  Identify avenues for enhancing business processes and internal controls through the application of your expertise, prior experiences, and industry best practices

• Facilitate internal, client, and external auditor meetings, encompassing walkthroughs, status reporting, and fieldwork close meetings

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $110,000 to $125,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
