The Human Resources Manager will support the Director and Assistant Director in overseeing the Human Resources function at the hotel, ensuring excellent guest service and optimizing profitability. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of experience in Human Resources management, strong communication skills, and a degree in Human Resources or Business, along with experience in a unionized, luxury hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Human Resources Manager, you will assist in managing daily HR operations, ensuring smooth processes in recruiting, hiring, training, benefits, labor relations, and more. Specific duties include:
- Overseeing daily HR functions, such as recruitment, employee relations, training, wage and benefits management, disciplinary procedures, safety, and compliance.
- Managing team member events like picnics, holiday functions, and health fairs.
- Ensuring data management systems are properly maintained, including employee transitions, payroll analysis, and unemployment claims.
- Maintaining compliance with Affirmative Action Plans and Equal Employment Opportunity regulations.
The salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience.
