Human Resources Manager, Amgen North Carolina
Role Overview
In this dynamic position, you’ll tackle complex HR challenges and lead strategic initiatives supporting Amgen North Carolina’s focus on manufacturing excellence and environmental sustainability. As a strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you’ll work closely with leadership to enhance organizational effectiveness and drive innovative strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to optimize workforce structure for current and future business needs.
- Collaborate with leaders to promote growth, engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
- Support global HR initiatives, aligning them with site objectives.
- Provide guidance for the Apprenticeship program and oversee HR development programs.
- Implement innovative tools to strengthen engagement and workplace culture.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence for talent management, leadership development, and staff retention.
- Analyze HR metrics to craft targeted talent strategies.
- Stay abreast of HR trends, offering actionable insights for organizational growth.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Doctorate degree, or
- Master’s degree with 2 years of HRBP experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of HRBP experience, or
- Associate’s degree with 8 years of HRBP experience, or
- High school diploma/GED with 10 years of HRBP experience.
Preferred Skills
- Over 6 years of progressively strategic HR experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and balance priorities.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of management.
