Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Reports To: Vice President of Human Resources
Department: Human Resources
Summary
The Human Resources Manager oversees the administration, coordination, and evaluation of all human resource functions. This role ensures smooth operation across various HR functions, supporting the organization’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage HR plans and procedures for all employees.
- Organize and supervise department activities, contributing to goal setting and system development.
- Oversee compensation programs, update job descriptions, and manage benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with EEO regulations and manage recruitment efforts for all employee categories.
- Lead new-employee orientations and offer employee relations counseling.
- Prepare and maintain departmental records, reports, and participate in meetings.
- Suggest improvements in policies and procedures to enhance departmental efficiency.
Work Environment
This position is based in an office environment, with frequent use of standard office equipment.
Physical Demands
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds and the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, sitting, and using office equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and three years of HR experience or a Master’s degree and two years of HR experience.
- PHR certification is preferred but not mandatory.
