Role Overview: HR Shared Services Representative (Associate)
Qualcomm’s Mexico office offers an excellent opportunity for an HR Shared Services Representative (Associate) to join the HR Hub. This role involves working in a shared service and contact center environment, assisting employees, managers, and HR team members with HR-related inquiries. Key areas of focus include HR policies, benefits programs, and support for tools like Workday and other HR platforms. This position operates in the Pacific Time Zone (PST).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through calls, chats, and web case submissions by addressing HR-related inquiries.
  • Provide accurate information using knowledge bases and HR portals.
  • Assist employees with issues related to self-service HR tools, including onboarding, benefits, and performance management.
  • Document case notes meticulously and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams.
  • Collaborate on process improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Offer guidance on Human Capital Management systems such as Workday and other tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 0–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment, or a degree in Human Resources, Business, or Communications.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Japanese or Korean is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving, empathy, and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, with an added advantage of prior experience in HR systems like Workday, Bswift, or similar platforms.

Desired Competencies:

  • Familiarity with U.S. benefits and basic HR processes.
  • An interest in learning and adapting to HR tools and technologies such as Avaya Call Center and ServiceNow.
  • Commitment to adhering to company policies, including the protection of confidential information.
