Role and Responsibilities
This internship is based at IBM’s headquarters in Armonk, NY, running from May 27, 2025, to August 8, 2025. IBM seeks passionate HR professionals aligned with our purpose – being the catalyst that improves how the world works.

As an HR intern at IBM, you’ll contribute to transformative initiatives that benefit both our employees and clients. You’ll gain hands-on experience in one of our core HR functions:

– **Talent** (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Employee Growth and Development, Talent Management)
– **Leadership, Culture, and Inclusion**
– **HR Services** (e.g., HR Technology, Payroll, HR Transformation)
– **Total Rewards** (e.g., Compensation, Benefits, Recognition)

Your work may involve data analysis, design thinking, communications, program development, research, and problem-solving. With technology as our foundation, you’ll have the opportunity to leverage AI to drive outstanding outcomes and help IBMers achieve their best work.

During the internship, you’ll build new skills, tackle large-scale projects, and collaborate with talented HR professionals globally. IBM will support your journey as you develop into a future leader.

*Note: If a full-time offer is extended after the internship, you must be open to relocating to one of IBM’s HR hubs in Armonk, NY, or Raleigh, NC.*

 Required Skills
– Strong verbal and written communication
– Ability to manage priorities and demonstrate excellent time management
– Capability to work both independently and within a team
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
– Basic skills in data analysis and analytics
– Ability to conduct research and provide data-driven recommendations

Preferred Skills
– Previous experience in Human Resources
