This position, located in Phoenix/Mesa, AZ, is an onsite role focused on aligning business objectives with both team members and management at the site. The individual will collaborate across various HR functions to identify and fulfill service requirements. As our Phoenix/Mesa facility is our latest addition, the selected candidate will also be involved in a task force focused on business and building needs.
This role reports to the Vice President of People Strategy & Operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Support strategic, operational, and business processes that align with the People Team and prioritize business partner initiatives.
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior and executive leaders in collaboration with broader HR functions.
– Collaborate with the functional HR team, including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation, Operations, Benefits, Employee Relations, Data Science, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging.
– Provide strategic HR leadership and guidance, focusing on innovative strategies to identify and address emerging business and organizational trends.
– Offer daily HR support to team members at the site.
– Consult with site leadership to provide HR expertise.
– Lead cross-functional projects supporting HR initiatives.
– Advise management on performance management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary matters.
– Act as a champion for teammates by fostering strong, collaborative relationships at all organizational levels.
– Work closely with management and team members to enhance work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
– Actively participate in promoting employee engagement and culture, with a focus on executing Diversity & Inclusion strategies.
– Address and help resolve concerns.
– Partner with relevant People Team functions for HR policy guidance and interpretation.
– Ensure HR initiatives align with business goals and objectives.
– Analyze trends and metrics to inform the development of solutions, programs, and policies.
– Assist in executing annual HR programs such as goal setting, performance reviews, compensation planning, talent assessments, and succession planning.
– Maintain a solid understanding of business to offer consultative HR services, leveraging HR expertise to influence leadership decisions.
– Collaborate with the People Experience and Operations team on process documentation and the development of scalable HR processes.
– Perform other related tasks as needed.
**Required Skills and Experience:**
– A minimum of 7 years of experience in human resources, preferably in an HR Business Partner role.
– Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
– Familiarity with the aerospace sector, including manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain processes.
– Ability to devise creative solutions for HR and business challenges.
– Authentic partnership qualities with the courage to challenge norms in a dynamic environment.
– Strong emotional intelligence and a people-focused approach in collaborative discussions.
– Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
– Experience leading or participating in cross-functional projects to meet business goals.
– Demonstrated consulting and change management expertise.
– Proven experience in cultivating organizational culture and employee engagement initiatives.
– Knowledge of HR industry standards, including compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
– Ability to influence and collaborate within a diverse organization to drive business outcomes.
– Proven conflict management skills and the confidence to challenge organizational thinking.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
**Salary and Benefits:**
The annual salary range for this full-time position in the U.S. is $118,100.00–$180,200.00, with actual pay depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience, while also considering internal equity. Additional compensation may include bonuses or long-term incentives, along with a comprehensive benefits package that varies based on the position.
