HR Business Partner for Manufacturing Operations
What You Can Expect
As an HR Business Partner, you’ll provide strategic HR support to a large, multi-site manufacturing operation. Partnering with site leadership, you’ll align HR practices with business goals, advocate for employees, and ensure fair and consistent policy administration. You’ll identify and address HR challenges tied to both short-term and long-term objectives, driving initiatives that enhance talent acquisition, retention, and management across the organization.
How You’ll Create Impact
- Lead HR processes for staffing, performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development, leadership development, and succession planning.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (COE) to make data-driven decisions.
- Use surveys and benchmarking insights to recommend policy improvements.
- Collaborate with leadership to strengthen talent strategies and organizational effectiveness.
- Promote best practices in strategic alignment, process management, and continuous improvement.
- Resolve conflicts effectively in areas of employee relations and performance management.
- Develop and implement initiatives addressing HR issues aligned with business goals.

- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
- Strong communication, influencing, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage processes, handle ambiguity, and create innovative solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, HR metrics, and statistical analysis techniques.
- Experience working effectively in team-oriented environments and with all organizational levels.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, labor relations, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- At least 7 years of HR experience, with 3+ years supporting manufacturing operations.
- SHRM or HRCI certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) strongly preferred.
- Master’s degree in HR, labor relations, or organizational development is a plus.
