About the Role:
This internship program is designed to accelerate your HR and TA career while making an impact at Seagate. As an HR and Talent Services Rotational Intern, you will join a 12-week summer program alongside peers from diverse backgrounds. Through targeted training and mentorship from experienced professionals, you will gain insight into Seagate’s HR functions, explore key areas of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, and contribute to high-impact projects across the organization. During this program, you’ll develop practical skills that drive business success in the following areas:
- Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with university and professional hiring teams to identify and attract the best talent for Seagate.
- Total Rewards: Learn about compensation, benefits, and other reward programs that enhance employee satisfaction.
- HR Business Partners: Provide support and consultation to business units across multiple locations.
- Learning and Development: Help deliver tools and resources that encourage continuous employee growth and skill development.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Work with leadership and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to develop initiatives that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
About You:
- Passionate about pursuing a career in HR or Talent Acquisition.

Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to adapt and work strategically across diverse business environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Currently enrolled in a U.S. university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (rising junior or senior preferred).
Locations:
Longmont, CO: Our Longmont campus offers stunning views of the Rocky Mountains and a variety of on-site amenities, including a cafeteria, coffee bar, fitness center, and walking paths. Employees enjoy recreational activities like volleyball, ping-pong, and community service opportunities, as well as vibrant employee groups such as Women’s Leadership Network and Young Professionals Network.
Normandale/Shakopee, MN:
- Normandale Campus: Located in Edina and Bloomington, this site offers an on-site café, fully equipped fitness center, indoor walking paths, and meditation rooms. The surrounding area includes restaurants, shopping, and community events, making it an ideal location for a balanced work experience.
- Shakopee Campus: Situated southwest of Minneapolis, Shakopee offers wide-open spaces with a rural charm. On-site features include a fitness center, basketball courts, volleyball, and outdoor walking paths. Employees can also enjoy freshly prepared meals at the on-site café.
Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly pay for this position ranges from $20 to $24, depending on location, education, and experience. Seagate provides a comprehensive benefits package for interns, including medical, dental, vision, and participation in the employee stock purchase plan. Interns also receive paid time off, including 12 holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of sick leave. These benefits are based on working 24-40 hours per week over a full calendar year.
