Role Overview
As the Director of Compensation Business Partner, you will lead global compensation initiatives to align with organizational goals. Using expertise and collaboration, you’ll manage strategy, communication, and change processes, ensuring transparency and alignment across business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor on compensation matters, supporting business leaders and partners.
- Conduct analyses to design compensation programs tailored to market trends and business needs.
- Implement compensation projects, covering job evaluation, market pricing, compliance, and incentives.
- Guide leaders on compensation strategies during major events, ensuring clarity and operational excellence.
- Propose solutions on compensation for promotions, internal transfers, international mobility, and retention.
- Analyze compensation trends and provide actionable insights for both short-term and long-term strategies.
- Own and lead a core global compensation program, such as pay parity or job architecture, from design to administration.
Qualifications and Experience
- Over 10 years of experience in progressively senior compensation roles.
- Proven expertise in implementing large-scale compensation initiatives with executive-level communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency.
- Ability to drive complex global initiatives and influence senior leadership effectively.
- Deep understanding of business needs and flexible application of compensation expertise to meet objectives.
Compensation Details
In Seattle, this role offers a total cash range of $196,000–$274,500, with potential growth up to $313,500 based on performance and experience. Starting pay will vary by location, budget, and individual qualifications.
