Role Overview
Rivian is looking for a dynamic and goal-driven Field Sales Manager eager to shape a growing business. This individual will lead sales operations, deliver exceptional performance, and cultivate a results-focused team at a retail location and service center. Success in this role requires a customer-first attitude, strong sales acumen, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and market share goals.
- Monitor key performance metrics and drive improvement initiatives.
- Lead and support field sales teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and operational efficiency to maximize productivity.
- Enhance customer satisfaction through strong product knowledge and communication.
- Implement structured sales processes for seamless customer journeys.
- Collaborate on strategies for marketing activations and events to drive brand growth.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations across sites.
- Uphold operational standards and lead retail team development.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in field sales, with 2+ years in leadership roles.
- Background in retail, sales, or hospitality; direct-to-consumer experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Experience with profit/loss management, CRM, and operational software.
- Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, with up to 25% travel.
- Clean driving record and ability to obtain local sales licenses, as required.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range (California): $101,000–$126,200, based on experience and location.
