Kroger Fall Internship Program – HR Focus
Location: General Office

Kroger’s Fall Internship Program offers a hands-on, immersive 16-week experience designed for current college students to gain real-world exposure, mentorship, and professional development in their chosen field. This program runs from August 9 to December 6, 2024, and provides competitive pay, leadership engagement, and skill-building opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and enhancing the corporate intern and mentor programs.
  • Plan and execute intern events to ensure a positive and enriching experience.
  • Support HR projects, completing tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate with colleges/universities to post internship opportunities and attract candidates.
  • Represent Kroger at career fairs and campus events, promoting the internship program.
  • Contribute ideas to improve branding and recruitment strategies for the internship program.
  • Travel locally for events, career fairs, and meetings as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited institution with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship (e.g., H1-B, OPT).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of multitasking effectively.
  • Strong leadership, initiative, and communication skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt positively to changes.
