**Position Summary**

We have an opportunity for a Director of Human Resources at our National Operating Center in St. Petersburg, FL. Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this role supports a team of around 300 corporate employees across multiple functions, including Digital Marketing & E-commerce, Supply and Demand Planning, Education, Compliance, Finance, IT, and Facilities Management.
This role aligns HR strategies with business goals, providing guidance, career planning, and development for both leadership and employees.
**Key Responsibilities**
– **Recruitment**: Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on interviewing for key roles and make recommendations on final hires.
– **Employee Development**: Work with leadership and employees to provide coaching and support for career growth and performance enhancement. Manage and advise on employee relations.
– **Succession Planning**: Lead the Talent Review process, ensuring alignment with global strategies.
– **Organizational Effectiveness**: Implement organizational improvements aligned with business objectives, enhancing our culture of excellence.
– **Workforce Planning**: Analyze workforce structure, suggest efficiency improvements, and manage headcount within budget.
– **Retention Strategies**: Use internal and external data to develop strategies that retain top talent.
– **Employee Engagement**: Partner with executives to drive engagement, as measured by Pulse surveys, and contribute to a positive and productive workplace culture.
– **HR Operations**: Oversee HR operations, including morale-boosting events, performance evaluations, benefits enrollment, and succession planning.
– **Compliance**: Ensure adherence to employment regulations, policies, and procedures.
– **Corporate HR Coordination**: Act as a liaison with Corporate HR on projects and implement new HR programs in alignment with company strategy.
– **Special Assignments**: Participate in additional projects as directed by senior HR management.
**Qualifications**
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
– 10+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on complex HR and business issues
– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with a strong sense of confidentiality
– Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with proficiency in MS Office and SAP Success Factors
– Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
– Deep knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
– Willingness to travel up to 10% and work occasional weekends for industry events
– Proven track record in coaching, mentoring, and consulting across different levels of management and employees
– Strong investigative skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve issues
– Ability to foster a positive and engaging work environment
– Adaptable to evolving business needs
