**Location: National Operating Center, St. Petersburg, FL**

We are currently seeking a **Director of Human Resources** to join our team in St. Petersburg, FL. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role will support approximately 300 SalonCentric Corporate employees across various functions, including Digital Marketing, E-commerce, Supply and Demand Planning, Education, Finance, IT, and Facilities Management.
This position is pivotal in aligning HR strategies with business goals, providing leadership support, and fostering career development.
**Key Responsibilities**
– **Recruitment:** Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to participate in interviews for key roles and recommend final hiring decisions.
– **Employee Development:** Partner with leaders and employees to provide coaching and guidance for performance enhancement and career growth.
– **Succession Planning:** Lead talent reviews and align strategies with global counterparts.
– **Organizational Design:** Implement structural improvements to meet business objectives while promoting a #GreatPlaceToWin culture.
– **Workforce Planning:** Analyze workforce structures and make recommendations for efficiency within budgetary limits.
– **Retention Strategies:** Utilize data insights to develop strategies for retaining key talent.
– **Employee Engagement:** Work closely with leaders to enhance employee engagement through Pulse surveys and tailored initiatives.
– **Day-to-Day HR Operations:** Manage performance evaluations, benefits enrollment, succession planning, and diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
– **Compliance:** Ensure adherence to legal regulations and company policies.
– **Corporate Liaison:** Act as a link between local and corporate HR to implement strategies and manage special projects.
**Qualifications**
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
– 10+ years of progressive HR experience with complex business and HR challenges.
– Strong interpersonal, communication, and confidentiality skills.
– Proficiency in MS Office and SAP SuccessFactors.
– Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.
– Deep understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
– Ability to travel up to 10% and work occasional weekends for events.
