Job Overview

The Director of Human Resources & Business Support is responsible for executing daily HR operations that align with the strategic goals of the property. Candidate Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with 4 years of professional HR or management experience.
    OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 2 years of experience in HR or operations management.

Core Responsibilities

Human Resources Strategy Execution:

  • Implement engagement surveys and related activities.
  • Build talent pipelines in support of diversity strategies at the property and regional levels.
  • Align HR strategies with business goals, ensuring effective implementation of key initiatives.
  • Lead succession planning and human capital reviews for property leadership pipelines.
  • Drive strategic efforts to enhance workforce performance and control costs.
  • Promote and ensure proper use of HR tools and systems by associates and managers.

Staffing and Recruitment:

  • Assess open positions to balance workforce needs with talent development.
  • Coach and facilitate effective selection and interview processes.
  • Recommend staffing strategies and consult on compensation packages.
  • Oversee the talent sourcing process and ensure optimal outcomes.

Compensation Strategy:

  • Stay informed on internal and external compensation trends.
  • Support the development of competitive compensation strategies for associates.
  • Communicate effectively about total compensation programs and policies.
  • Review and address internal equity concerns and compensation packages.

Staff Development:

  • Oversee the training and performance of HR team members at the property.
  • Act as a resource for associate relations and address employee concerns.
  • Promote positive employee relations through consistent reinforcement of values.

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $133,000–$163,000 annually. Additional benefits include bonus programs, comprehensive healthcare, 401(k) plans with a company match, employee stock purchase plans, paid time off, parental leave, tuition assistance, and travel discounts. Benefits eligibility and conditions are subject to company policies and applicable laws.
