Director of Global Payroll Services – Job Overview
We are seeking a Director of Global Payroll Services to oversee and streamline payroll operations for our company. This position requires someone to lead and mentor a global payroll team, work with internal stakeholders, and manage external service providers to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing for over 40,000 employees across the Americas, APAC, and EMEA regions. The role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments to support business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a global payroll team of 20+ members across different regions, ensuring timely and compliant payroll processing for 40,000 employees.
- Collaborate with teams in Finance, HR, and IT to develop strategies for payroll systems, timekeeping, and attendance management.
- Drive successful global projects, including the implementation of a new payroll system (ADP Celergo) in Europe.
- Ensure adherence to local, federal, and international payroll regulations while streamlining processes.
- Manage payroll audits to comply with SOX and local regulations.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in global payroll processing and management.
- Knowledge of global payroll accounting rules and industry standards.
- Experience with ADP GlobalView, Dayforce, and other payroll systems.
- Strong change management and stakeholder management skills.
- A deep understanding of payroll operations, taxes, compensation, benefits, and equity reporting.
- Ability to manage complex and dynamic situations, building high-performing teams and fostering talent development.
