Position Overview
As the Director, Compensation Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing global compensation programs. This includes collaborating with business leaders and HR partners to ensure these programs align with business objectives while promoting transparency and equity. By leveraging your expertise, you will guide compensation strategies that drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a compensation advisor, supporting business partners and leaders with tailored solutions.
- Analyze compensation data to design programs aligned with current trends and business needs.
- Implement and oversee compensation processes, including market pricing, job evaluations, and regulatory compliance.
- Guide stakeholders through compensation events like annual reviews and mid-year adjustments.
- Provide strategic insights for ad hoc requests, including new hires, promotions, and retention strategies.
- Act as a global product owner for key compensation initiatives such as pay parity, job architecture, and off-cycle increases.
- Communicate trends and recommend actions to address compensation challenges.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in compensation.
- Proven expertise in implementing large-scale compensation programs.
- Strong business acumen with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to foster relationships and influence decisions at senior leadership levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex global initiatives independently.
Compensation Details
The compensation range for this position in Seattle is $196,000 to $274,500, with potential to reach $313,500 based on sustained performance. Starting pay will depend on factors such as location, skills, and experience.
