**About the Business Systems Team**

Waymo’s Business Systems team designs and supports the IT framework essential to the operational efficiency of Waymo’s autonomous fleet. Positioned at the crossroads of finance, operations, and IT, this team creates scalable architecture and ensures best-in-class functionality throughout the organization’s business processes.

**Role Overview**

This hybrid position reports to Waymo’s Head of Business Intelligence in the G&A team. The role involves creating advanced reporting frameworks to drive decision-making in Waymo’s commercial operations and developing consistent, scalable data pipelines.

**Key Responsibilities**

– Develop comprehensive reporting systems to facilitate data-driven decision-making in Waymo’s commercialization efforts.
– Write efficient, high-quality data pipelines with clear definitions and transformations to standardize metrics across the organization.
– Collaborate with multiple teams (Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, Legal) to ensure accurate reporting.
– Integrate third-party data with Waymo-owned data to enhance value.
– Establish a self-service data infrastructure to empower end-users and promote data literacy.
– Maintain critical financial systems to maximize uptime and support rapid decision-making.

**Required Qualifications**

– 6+ years of experience in relevant fields
– Proficiency in Big Query, Data Fusion, APIs, GCP infrastructure
– Strong coding skills, including SQL and scripting languages like Python
– Experience with data visualization (preferably Looker)
– Background in finance systems and data management

**Preferred Qualifications**

– Experience building and maintaining data infrastructure for large enterprises
– Skills in data modeling, warehousing, and visualization
– CPA certification with FP&A experience
– Familiarity with GenAI (Gemini) and Vertex development tools

**Compensation and Benefits**

Waymo offers a competitive salary for this full-time role across U.S. locations, with a range of $190,000–$238,000 USD. Compensation will be tailored based on factors such as location, experience, and skill level. Additional benefits include eligibility for Waymo’s annual bonus, equity incentive plan, and comprehensive benefits package.
