About the Role
The Corporate Procurement Manager oversees sourcing and procurement activities for Wyndham, focusing on indirect spend categories like marketing, facilities, HR, financial services, IT, corporate travel, and professional services. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to analyze procurement needs, creating strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiating contracts, and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate across departments to establish category strategies that deliver consistent value.
- Analyze financial and inventory data to recommend procurement strategies.
- Identify suppliers, draft RFx documents, evaluate responses, and recommend suitable suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements favorable to Wyndham.
- Manage contract review processes, liaising with legal and internal teams.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve any contractual issues.
- Provide timely responses to internal and external procurement inquiries.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in negotiation, analytics, and contract management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with procurement and contract terminology.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; minimum three years of procurement experience (hospitality industry experience is a plus).
