THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic team member to expand AMD’s business across its complete commercial portfolio, collaborating directly with VAR channel partners in the Western U.S. This partner-facing position requires managing strategic OEM partnerships and influencing senior-level management to drive growth and success.

  • Proven experience in building strong relationships with VAR partners and customers, resulting in successful sales.
  • Confident in presenting to varied audiences, including partners, customers, and executives.
  • Open to traveling up to 50% of the time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and nurture relationships with VAR channel partners at all levels, from account management to executive leadership.
  • Promote AMD’s products and innovative technologies.
  • Achieve AMD’s quarterly and annual unit and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with strategic OEM partners to align go-to-market strategies and objectives.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and allocate resources to maximize growth and return on investment.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of sales opportunities in partnership with strategic OEM colleagues.
  • Work with AMD and OEM teams to create quarterly marketing plans aligned with sales objectives.
  • Provide feedback to improve marketing materials and sales tools, ensuring VAR partners are equipped to advocate for AMD-based products and solutions effectively.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Established relationships and interactions with VAR channel partners and strategic OEMs (e.g., Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Supermicro).
  • Strong background in technology sales or business development, particularly within server/datacenter markets, with a proven track record of successful sales in VAR accounts.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree or equivalent professional experience.
