Centralized Staffing Specialist
About the Role
The Centralized Staffing Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring optimal staffing levels for hourly positions, aligning with business goals and fostering a positive work environment. This position involves managing the end-to-end recruitment process for multiple locations and maintaining candidate engagement throughout.
Responsibilities
- Advance candidates through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) efficiently.
- Provide regular progress updates to the Team Lead.
- Implement staffing best practices to meet hiring objectives.
- Maintain confidentiality of all records and sensitive information.
- Ensure accurate documentation and candidate status updates in ATS.
- Conduct initial applicant reviews and outreach to build a strong candidate pipeline.
- Create job postings, process applications, and prepare job offers.
- Communicate effectively with candidates and internal teams.
Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and discretion with sensitive information.
- Proficiency with computer systems and multitasking across screens.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in HR, retail, or high-volume recruiting.
- Familiarity with Workday or similar systems.
- Weekend and extended availability as needed.
