Job Description
**Job Purpose:** This role’s main objective is to deliver a memorable and personalized experience for Buffalo Wild Wings guests by expertly presenting food and beverage choices in a friendly and enthusiastic way.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Engage with guests to build lasting connections and brand loyalty through meaningful interactions.
– Participate in programs like Mystery Shop, GEM, and BARS to ensure quality service. Adhere to the BARS protocol by verifying the ID of anyone appearing under the age of 40 to ensure compliance with age requirements for alcohol consumption.
– Efficiently read and organize orders to serve guests quickly, especially in busy times.
– Prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company standards and specifications.
– Fulfill various operational and cleaning duties, such as following the Steps of Service, bussing and resetting the bar, restocking supplies, and sanitizing menus and bar areas.
– Restock the bar with beverages, replace kegs, and replenish ice bins as needed. Remove spills and debris from designated areas to maintain cleanliness.
– Track and manage inventory by monitoring and replenishing items such as glassware and garnishes, washing and sterilizing equipment, and following company standards to control waste.
– Take guest orders, prepare beverages, and handle payments accurately as per company procedures.
– Implement responsible service practices to prevent issues related to excessive guest drinking.
– Maintain a sanitary bar environment by cleaning and organizing equipment and the bar area.
– Support front-of-house (FOH) operations with opening and closing tasks to uphold cleanliness and organization. When performing FOH duties outside of bartender tasks, employees must clock in under the FOH Support code as specified and notify Human Resources if they are unable to switch tasks appropriately.
Additional tasks may be assigned by management, with pay determined based on the specific duties.
**Physical Demands:**
This position requires a mix of sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and movement throughout shifts. If any assigned task exceeds physical limitations, employees should inform their manager.
