Automation Specialist – Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will take charge of designing and implementing automated workflows and processes to enhance operational efficiency, streamline data management, and boost business productivity. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and in-depth expertise with automation tools such as Airtable, Zapier, Slack, and Make.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize and refine existing automation systems to enhance efficiency and prevent potential bugs, ensuring smooth operation in active use.
- Develop long-term automation strategies by planning and proposing sustainable workflows.
- Design, build, and implement innovative automated processes and workflows.
- Create interfaces and formulas in Airtable for efficient data management, including financial dashboards, KPI tracking, and sales monitoring.
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and resolve technical issues within automation systems.
- Analyze and document the functionality of existing large-scale systems.
- Stay updated on software advancements to provide informed recommendations.
- Collaborate with app developers to ensure seamless integration.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in designing and implementing automated workflows.
- Proficiency with automation tools like Zapier, Make, HubSpot, Slack, and Airtable (JavaScript knowledge is a plus).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
- Capability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Experience with small remote teams is an added advantage.
Additional Information
Logistics:
- This is a part-time, remote contractor role requiring 10–30 hours per month.
- Work hours must overlap with U.S. business hours.
