  • Provides verbal and written responses to inquiries received from both internal and external customers regarding insurance policy benefits, provider contracts, eligibility requirements, and claim filing procedures.
  • Examines issues and offers information as well as potential answers.
  • Performs tasks involving the operation of a personal computer and an imaging station to gather and extract information; documents information, activities, and changes made to the database.
  • Documents the results of the inquiry in great detail for the sake of accurate tracking and analysis.
  • Builds and maintains strong customer relations while coordinating with multiple company functions to ensure that customer requests and questions are handled in an acceptable manner and in a timely manner. Conducts research and analyses data in order to address operational obstacles as well as concerns with customer service.
  • It provides information that has been sought by both internal and external customers.
  • Receiving and making follow-up telephone calls and e-mails to customers in order to answer routine questions that are posed by customers while working directly under supervision.
  • Tracking, information collection, and problem solving are all done with the use of electronic systems.

Qualifications Required at a Minimum:

Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent as well as previous experience working in an environment that provides automated customer support; alternatively, any combination of education and experience that provides a comparable background would suffice.
